The Easy Way to Getting 5 * Reviews for your Martial Arts Business!

In today’s world, when people are looking for products or services in their area, the most common way they do it is by going to Google and searching.

For example, for martial arts in Sydney they would so something like:

The main thing we want to point out here though, is the rating field which is highlighted by the red arrow. Studies have shown that businesses with 5 star ratings get far more leads from google than businesses without.

So, how do you get 5 star reviews?

Well, the first step is to ensure you have your Google Business Page setup and up to date. If you haven’t done that then go and do it.

Then, once your Google page is setup, the easiest way to get your 5 star reviews is … (and this is not rocket science) … is to ask your existing members to go there and leave you one!

Now because Google wants to maintain the integrity of the reviews left, they need to validate the reviewer. And although the reviewer can review without a gmail address, given that a user with a gmail address has already been verified by Google, and we want to make it quick and easy for your customers to leave a review … the low hanging fruit is to ask your existing customers with gmail addresses to review your business!

And this is so easy thanks to Arnold (assuming you’re doing the basics right)!

Firstly, draft an email in windows notepad (or another text editor) when you write something like:

Dear member, in an effort to help grow our business, would you mind doing us a quick favour and leaving a 5-star review on our Google listing? It should take no more than 30 seconds.

Here is the link [copy-paste your google listing URL here]

Thank you.

Then, go to Arnold and select Member Query from the main menu. Using the drop-downs, setup your query to look for all contacts in your database (that are in Open Accounts) with gmail addresses, as per this image:

Finally, once you have your list of contacts, click the Email option from the right side menu … copy/paste your email from notepad, format it how you like … and click send.

Assuming your members are happy with your services and are raving fans (sorry, can’t help you with that, that’s up to you) … then it will be relatively straight-forward for them to click the link from your email, be taken to your google page where they’re probably already signed in with their gmail account … and review your business!

Power Marketing!

World renowned business coach Brad Sugars wrote a book called " Buying Customers ". The premise is that for every dollar you spend on marketing, then you should get back at least that dollar and then some, in order for that marketing to have been worth it.  So this begs the question - how do you know if your marketing is working? The newest feature added to Arnold Gym Management is something we call Power Marketing!  This feature allows you to create a  Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) and attach it to anything, regardless of how your marketing works.  Let us give you a quick walkthrough:  Firstly, you will need your Business GUID. Each business that subscribes to Arnold has their own GUID and you can get yours from this screen (red arrows):  Next, go to Marketing (three lines below General Info marked with the red arrow above). And then you will see a new button called Power Marketing. Click that to come to this screen:  This will show you an overview of your defined GUIDs

How to View Your Subscription Info

New Page - View your Arnold Subscription & Print Invoices Last night we released an update to Arnold Gym Management. It was only a minor release, but along with some minor formatting to a couple of reports and screens (we're always on the look-out for ways in which we can increase our product and make it easier), we have added one extra bit of functionality. Previously, when Arnold used to run as a Windows Application, you could print your subscription invoices and give to your accountant. And as with all re-writes, the critical things are done first and then there is a flow on down to the important and then nice-to-haves. Up until last night, we would email you a copy of your subscription summary - with the details of how many open members you have and the monthly fee. However, now there is a new page where you can access it at any time, print old invoices and review the member break down. Simply click the new Subscriptions option from the main menu to access the p
