Power Marketing!

World renowned business coach Brad Sugars wrote a book called "Buying Customers". The premise is that for every dollar you spend on marketing, then you should get back at least that dollar and then some, in order for that marketing to have been worth it.

So this begs the question - how do you know if your marketing is working?

The newest feature added to Arnold Gym Management is something we call Power Marketing!

This feature allows you to create a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) and attach it to anything, regardless of how your marketing works.

Let us give you a quick walkthrough:

Firstly, you will need your Business GUID. Each business that subscribes to Arnold has their own GUID and you can get yours from this screen (red arrows):

Next, go to Marketing (three lines below General Info marked with the red arrow above). And then you will see a new button called Power Marketing. Click that to come to this screen:

This will show you an overview of your defined GUIDs, including their total reach and the last time they were accessed. If you click on the hand icon on the left of the row, it will show you a chart of their reach over time:

To implement on your site, you take your Business GUID and the GUID defined in that screen above (you can create one, or there is a button to create one for you too if required). And then implement a POST on your website.

You can see in the example above there is a refid passed to the site. This is because this example is for a Facebook ad and we pass in the GUID from the URL on the Ad.

Another way to do it is via some simple javascript on your website.

If doing it this way, you will need to post to the following URI:

https://stingrae.azurewebsites.net/api/SessionSave?businessguid={yourBusinessGUID}&sourceguid={yourMarketingGUID}

Here is a simple example of javascript code that was generated by Postman:

On the bottom left of this example too, you can see the return response you will get from a successful post.

It's that simple ... just remember to create a new GUID with each form of marketing you do, and monitor it to make sure you keep buying customers!

So, we obliged!  Here is their chart of accounts created month by month:  What do you notice? They were right! You can see a definite spike in February and a huge lull in June, which confirms that for a gym in the southern hemisphere, most people don't like joining gyms in winter!  If you're a client of Arnold Gym Management, and want a custom chart designed, please log a support ticket and we'll get back to with our thoughts!

 ### Why Tracking Your Advertising Spend Is Crucial for Success In today’s digital age, advertising drives business growth, but without tracking your spend, you’re operating in the dark. Knowing where your money goes and what it achieves is essential to turning a haphazard campaign into a strategic winner. Tracking isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s the key to maximizing every dollar you invest. First, tracking your ad spend reveals your return on investment (ROI) and highlights what’s working. You can see if a big-budget social media ad is driving sales or just racking up likes, while a smaller search ad quietly delivers results. This data lets you cut waste, shift funds to high performers, and refine your approach—plus, it uncovers audience insights, showing you who’s engaging and how to better target them. Lastly, monitoring your spend keeps you adaptable in a fast-changing landscape. Markets shift, platforms evolve, and campaigns that once worked can falter. By keeping an eye on th...
